
I know not everyone celebrates Easter but for those that do it usually involves lots of food, drinks, family and friends.
Since I started my program last June I have gone through every major holiday but Easter. I never had a problem with any of them because I had a plan and stuck to it.
This will be my first holiday in Transition so I’ll get to eat a few more things.
My plan will start with an Easter Breakfast at Church and I know they will have eggs a good protein source and I can also eat fruit now. I won’t have any of the baked breads.
For Easter this year we will be meeting up with family at a half way point and eating at an Olive Garden. This will be the first time I have been to an Olive Garden since I started MF 10 months ago. I was happy to see on the menu that they now have several items that will be on plan for me. I’ll decide before you leave, make my plan and stick to it. I’ll bring a bar in my purse so if others have dessert I can have a treat too.
