Take Shape For Life Medifast Weight Loss Now To Help Brides
davids bridal

Great minds think alike.

Since I signed up to be a Health Coach With Take Shape For Life using Medifast products, I have been working on ways to get the word out. In Wisconsin not many people know about this Great Secret to weight loss.

I started by thinking of other businesses that have customers that would also be interested in loosing weight. While local gyms and health clubs came to mind first I also thought of travel agents who have customers wanting to lose a few pounds so they will look great in their swimsuit and bridal shops that have brides and the wedding party that wants to look good.

Well, Take Shape For Life just announced today that they have entered into an affiliate marketing program with David’s Bridal. See great minds think alike. While I don’t have a David’s Bridal anywhere close I will take my program to my local bridal shops to see if they would like to work with me.

I’m excited to get the word out about Medifast. Thanks Take Shape For Life for helping me grow my business.

Tools I Use For My Medifast Weight Loss Journey Amazon Store

amazonstore

Over the past 24 weeks I have come to count on several helpful items for my weight loss journey. I have made a list of them on Amazon.com HERE.

First there are the Medifast books that everyone doing the program should read and understand. I included the kitchen gadgets I use everyday like my Magic Bullet.  I also have exercise dvd’s because I would rather exercise at home then at the gym. I know several people using the Wii Fit so I also have that listed too.

If you want to see the products I like you check them out. HERE

They make great Christmas gifts too!

I Lost Weight On Thanksgiving Day This Year With Medifast

Christmas dinner

In my last post I told you my Thanksgiving eating plan  HERE  and how the Average American puts on 8 pounds over the holidays.

Well, Thanksgiving went as planned and I guess all the extra exercise I got preparing the food and doing the clean up helped me to lose a pound too. How great is that.  I didn’t feel like a stuffed turkey and I lost a pound.

I had no problem sticking to my Medifast plan.  I got a plate full of food.  I was not hungry during the day and I even got dessert with my family.

Now Christmas celebrations should be no problem for me either.

If you really want to lose those extra pounds you have been carring around once and for all this is the best program I have found.  Medifast has been used by 20,000 doctors for the past 30 years and now I can help you on your Medifast weight loss journey for FREE.

Happy Thanksgiving

Today was my weigh in day and I’m happy to report that I’m down another -2 lbs.  for a totally of -63 lbs in 24 weeks.

I’ll be doing all the cooking for the family and making all their favorites.

I will be sticking to the Medifast 5&1 plan all day long.  You mush have a plan.  I started with a Medifast  blueberry oatmeal and cup of coffee, mid morning a Medifast cappuccino.  For lunch I’ll have a Medifast dutch chocolate shake.  Before dinner I’ll have a Medifast peanut butter crunch bar.  For my lean and green I’ll have my Thanksgiving meal of white turkey meat, garlic green beans, and mashed cauliflower “fake mashed potatoes”. For dessert I’ll flavor my Medifast Vanilla pudding with eggnog flavor drops.

As you can see from my menu I’ll be eating every 2-3 hours and won’t be hungry or tempted by all the other dishes. My holiday favorites will always be around and I know that by next year I’ll be able to have them again.

The Average American will gain 8 Lbs this Holiday Season.  I won’t be average I’ll be losing this Holiday Season.

By the time New Years rolls around I’ll be looking for a new resolution because I won’t need to lose any weight in 2010.

Nothing Tastes As Good As Thin Feels!

Happy Thanksgiving!

On November 9th Investor’s Business Daily  IBD printed their Top 100 growth stock picks for the week and Medifast MED was #1 on their list.

On a past post here I wrote about Medifast’s GREAT 3rd quarter earnings report.

While I think we all know that obesity is a major problem in the US today and weight loss is  BIG business.  It looks like people are starting to realize that Medifast has the answer to their weight loss problem.  It’s true that Medifast has been around for almost 30 years and has been used by 20,000 doctors but still alot of people have never heard of the program.

I was one of those people.  Here in North Central Wisconsin none of my doctors,  friends or family had ever heard of Medifast until  I started on it.  A big part of this new popularity of Medifast has come from  The Take Shape For Life Program where the company trains past clients to become coaches that go out and help others lose weight.

After my first 7 weeks on the Medifast program I saw my calling.  I was so happy I finally found something that worked and was so easy to follow that I wanted to help everyone I could to lose weight and get healthy.  I signed up as a health coach and I’m now working with clients both locally and across the country. I’m able to offer my coaching services for FREE to all my clients for as long as it takes.

I love Medifast  and Take Shape For Life.  I think they hold the Secret to Fast, Safe ,Weight Loss and I’m happy to share that Secret with everyone I come in contact with that wants my help.

Medifast 5&1 Plan Question Can I chew Gum On The Plan?

Medifast 5&1 Plan Question Can I chew Gum On The Plan?

orbittridentlayers

Welcome to the weekly Medifast Plan question.

I chose this question because today was my weekly weigh in and for the first time in 22 weeks on the Medifast program I didn’t lose a single pound. To say the least I was shocked! Shocked it hadn’t happened sooner to tell you the truth. It was so unbelievable to step on that scale each week and keep losing.  Don’t get me wrong I was thrilled but wondered how long it would last. So I’m still stuck at -59 lbs for another week

I started thinking if I had done anything different the past week and the one thing that stuck out was I had been shopping and I picked up my two favorite flavors of gum.  I have them pictured above the new Trident Layers and Orbit Mist in Watermelon Spring. While I’m working on the computer I will mindlessly chew away after all they are both “sugar Free” so no problem right?  Well, maybe?  I can’t tell you how many pieces I chew a day, I never counted.  I do remember reading that you could only have up to 3 pieces of sugar free gum or mints a day. I know I was over three.  It’s sugar free so why would it matter?

So, today I started to do some research.  Trident Layers has less than 5 calories per piece and is sugar-free (though it does contain 2 carbs per serving). Orbit Mist also has less than 5 calories per piece and is sugar-free but contains 1 carb. OK so sugar-free can still contain carbs and Medifast is a low carb meal plan.  Five pieces of the Trident could add 10 carbs  for gum.

Then I thought all that chewing should be burning some extra calories right?

Believe it or not, you can actually burn some extra calories by chewing gum. “Besides being good for your breath–especially if you eat a lot of protein–researchers at the Mayo Clinic have found that chewing gum will burn an additional 11 calories per hour,” says Dan Benardot, Ph.D., R.D., author of Nutrition for Serious Athletes.
So that made me feel better.  You can believe that I’ll be watching everything more closely again and adding more exercise so I’ll make that over -60 pound loss total next week!
To answer the question,
Q.  Can I chew Gum On The Plan?
A.  Yes, three sugar free pieces of gum a day is OK on the Medifast 5&1 Plan.

Yes You Can Eat Cheese On The Medifast 5&1 Weight Loss Plan
cheese
Maybe I’m the only one that didn’t know this but I came across a Medifast Meatless Options sheet
HERE

And we can have CHEESE. I’m from Wisconsin and I LOVE MY CHEESE

I was so happy to read we could choose cottage cheese, shreeded cheese, even ricotta.

Make sure you read the sheet to see the % of fat for the cheese you can eat and the correct serving size.

Also on the sheet is a long list of Morningstar Farms, Bocca, and Garden Burger choices. I never shopped that section while on MF because I tried a BK veggie burger years ago and it was gross.

Please tell me if you have tried and like any of the no meat “meats” from the above brands maybe I’ll give them a try.

Hope this info excites someone else too!

Wishing you all an OP week.
