If this is not the first time you have visited my site you may notice I made some changes.  Because of rule changes Health Coaches private sites must now be unbranded. No mention of the program names can be used.  So this is now a generic site.  Many of my past posts and audios are now only avaliable for my personal clients in the For My Client Only tab. They would have been too hard to remove all the trade names. Don’t leave just yet.

You can still gather a wealth of information from my posts and you can always contact me if you are interested in THIS PROGRAM. My clients will have full password protected access to all my resources that I have posted over the past 3 years.

I’m Coach NatalieJo and I lost 80 lbs and I have kept if off for over 2 years.  Read MY Story from the tab up top.  If changing your life is something you are interested in doing.  I would love to speak with you and answer all your questions.  This program works.  It’s been around for 30 years. THIS PROGRAM Changed Me For the Better!

Friday, February 25th, 2011

You cannot have a better body, more money, greater success, or a happier lifestyle. That is, until you make a point to change your beliefs, your thoughts, your intentions, your goals, and your focus. Once you address the inside you, change will come significantly and swiftly to the outer you. -Dr. Joe Vitale

I just came across this statement today and it is so true. My life changed when I worked on the inside first and then everything changed in my life. Meal replacements were one of the many tools I used to turn my life around. THIS PROGRAM  lead me to my passion of helping others to change. These are tools I’ll continue to use the rest of my life.

It’s what’s on the inside that’s important.

Top 10 New Years Resolutions – #1 Solution for them All

Monday, January 3rd, 2011

After reading this list of the top 10 New Years Resolutions it came to my attention that I had found the perfect solution to fulfill all 10 pretty easily.
I know from personal experience because in 2009 my resolution list looked just like the top 10 one until I found my solution.  By January 2010 just about every one of them was crossed off my list because I accomplished it this time.
1. Lose Weight and Get in Better Physical Shape

2. Stick to a Budget

3. Debt Reduction

4. Enjoy More Quality Time with Family & Friends

5. Find My Soul Mate

6. Quit Smoking

7. Find a Better Job

8. Learn Something New

9. Volunteer and Help Others

10. Get Organized

To start off after I found this program I was able to lose 88 lbs in less than a year. Doing anything physical became a lot easier for me and I felt great. My food budget was improved with the savings of my new program and the discounts and free weeks of food I got. I no longer hit fast food places when I was in a hurry or didn’t want to cook. Thankfully we didn’t have any debt but our income was much increased with this new program.  I did enjoy more quality time with family and friends because I was feeling a lot better and more willing to go out and socialize not to mention all the great new friends I met through this new program both online and in person at events. My soul mate I met 25 years ago and we are still married.  I think he would agree that our relationship has improved since I started on this program. I quit smoking 24 years ago but others that are smokers once they start getting healthy also stop smoking on this program. This program has lead me to my passion the best job I have ever had. I have learned so much since starting and continue to learn more each day while working with my clients. I’m a volunteer working for free to help my clients lose weight. When I started this program my husband and I spent a few weekends filling a 20 yard dumpster with items we stored in our out building and I still continue to work on my in house organizing because I think that getting rid of excess stuff has helped in my losing excess weight. Also this company has the best organized duplicatable business blueprint I have ever worked with. Then I can show you super ways to organize and store your meal replacements.

So if you don’t yet know what the program I’m talking about is it’s called THIS PROGRAM and it has totally changed my life in so many ways. As I said above I’m a health coach working for Free and offering discounts to save my clients money on their weight loss program.

Please contact me if you would like help with any of the top 10 New Year Resolutions on your list.

Weight Loss Before and After Pictures

Tuesday, December 7th, 2010

I have spent the last few days trying to get all my 2010 papers organized. So either I’m very behind on my record keeping or I’m getting a jump on this years taxes.  In doing so I came across some old photos and it reminded me of another reason I started THIS PROGRAM in the first place.

Over the years as I was getting larger and larger every morning I would look into the mirror and think I looked ok. Then every time we saw the in-laws my Mother-in-law would have the camera out and start shooting pictures. A few weeks later she would send me copies in the mail. No harm intended I’m sure, we get along real well but I just thought either she was a bad photographer or there was something really wrong with her camera. I would look at the pictures of myself and think who is that? As you can see from the one above I had a smile on my face but my eyes were tiny slits and I looked very uncomfortable and blotted. That by the way was a year before I stated my weight loss journey so I wasn’t even up to 230 lbs yet. Now I understand what they mean by a picture is worth a thousand words because I could think of at least that many to call how I looked. This years Thanksgiving photo is me at 150 lbs my goal weight now holding for 10 months.

So in closing I guess I’m thankful to my Mother-in-law and her years of photo taking for showing me what I really looked like on the outside. It prompted me to work on myself which in turn has given me the opportunity to help others get healthy too.

If you need help changing what your photos of yourself look like I have a solution.  I’m a certified health coach for THIS PROGRAM and I’m FREE to all clients.  I would love to help you get healthy in 2011. Flavor Up Your Holiday 10% Discount At Capella

Thursday, December 2nd, 2010

It’s been some time since I posted about this great Flavor inhancer by Capella for meal replacements and more.

First they like us meal replacement users and offer us a 10% discount just use  when you checkout.

I know when I started on the program my first disapointment was no more flavored creamers in my coffee.  Even the sugarfree ones are too high in calories.  So I had to search for some other solutions and that’s when I came across Capella Flavor Drops.

No Sugar

No Sweeteners

No Fats

No Carbs

No Calories

No Caffeine

No Gluten

They are perfect to use on THIS PROGRAM.  The bottles are so small you can carry them in your purse and be ready for a coffee break with friends anytime.

This time of year I start to crave Pumpkin Spice Coffee and Capella has Pumpkin Pie Spice Flavor Drops.  Just 3-5 drops per 8 oz of coffee.  One little bottle has 120 servings so you can treat your friends too. Now I don’t miss the creamer because I get all the flavor I crave without the fat and calories.

They have so many flavors to try.  How about Root Beer Float drops in your vanilla shake?  Or Amarreto Drops in your coffee.  Cool mint drops are great in the  hot cocoa. For the holidays try Egg Nog drops in vanilla pudding. All the flavors work great in the shakes too.

They also have flavor Drops for water in fruit flavors and mint.

If you want more sweetness you can add your favorite sugarfree sweetner too.

Give Me A Break!

Saturday, August 28th, 2010

This is a follow up on my last post so read that first if you missed it.

I just sent an update email to my coach and it all makes sense to me now.

At Convention in July I got to work with Brian Brio, a great Motivational Leader and he worked with 600 people to “break through” something that was holding us back. Everyone got to Break a 1 inch board with their bare hand.

Here I am just before.   I did it on the first try!

Here I’m am after.  Thanks Wendy for taking the photos:)

I’m very happy!  As you can see on the back of that gals shirt we were in Grapevine, TX.   Loved TX too!

Here is the board and written on it is what we wanted to break through…Hate Exercise

On the back we gave positive outcomes of our breakthrough and also the person we dedicated it to I wrote my health coach because she wasn’t happy I didn’t start exercise.

Here it is after:)

I think my hate of exercise came over the years when I tried everything to lose weight.  Going to the GYM 5 times a week and not losing a single pound.  Trying again a few years later and decided if I multi-tasked maybe I would think it was doing me some good.  So I listened to Christian music on my IPOD and brought a book along to read while I was on the bike and elliptical. Again with no weight loss I felt it was useless and I stopped.

When I found THIS PROGRAM and heard NO starting up ANY new exercise for the first 3 weeks, I was over joyed!  Sign me up!  My husband would ask if I wanted to go for a hike and I would say no I can’t that’s not on my plan.  After 3 MONTHS of asking me I finally confessed that the rule was only for the first 3 weeks but I was losing weight with no exercise and I like my way just fine. I decided to work my program one focus at a time.

Now for my AHA moment, this is good…..

It all comes full circle.  I put the brakes on my exercise over a year ago. I worked hard breaking my old habits to lose the extra weight that had broken my spirit. I had my Brian Brio Board Breaking Breakthrough in July. Then when I tried to start up my exercise journey I had my bike brake dragging tire experience  that I struggle with  and fought for over a week but never gave up.  All of which just made me stronger in the end…mind, body and spirit.

I think I have “broken” free of my hate for exercise.  It’s not a love affair just yet, but I’m looking into new activities and giving them a try.

I’ll continue to update you on my Adventures in Exercise Land as they happen.

While we each are on our own journey leading to our goal, what’s important in the end when we get there is not the final destination but who we have become and the people we have met along the way.

Enjoy the journey!

Weight Loss Vacation Exercise Story

Wednesday, August 25th, 2010

My vacation bike story  Who paid my husband to………….

First some background facts.  I lost -88 lbs, finished transition and have been in Maintenance since April 2010 and I did it ALL with NO exercise.  So now I’m working on that part of my plan.
My husband and I went for a week long camping trip with the trailer and bikes in tow last week.
Day 1 we started on the bikes with a short trip on a walking path to the beach. It was kind of exciting dodging the rocks, mudd pits and tree branches. It was super windy so the woods helped that.  Well, my Hubby decides we should take the long way home. The trail hurt his back.  It’ll be easier on the road he says. OK so the road was smooth but it was uphill and against the wind most of the way.  I remember making the comment that my tires must not be round because they sure don’t roll very easy. DH just laughed because he just filled them up and they were as hard as a rock and he was having no problems at all. The last third of the ride was down hill so that’s what saved me.
Day 2 we took the car and bikes on the ferry to Washington Island. We drove to the tower.  Climber the steps up the hill side 116 of them and then another 65 up to the top of the look out tower then back down all 181 steps. After a picnic lunch at the beach we got on the bikes. Another super windy day and I had some sore leg muscles but I was going to do it. He made it look so easy and granted he does have an expensive light weight bike with a gazillion gears.  My bike has 7 gears and only the lower 6 work humm. There were times that I was going so slow up hill I was amazed I didn’t fall over. Again I noticed how others would just wiz right by me with no effort.
Day 3 we took the bikes out to the state park to ride the sunset trail.  10 miles of hard packed trails in the woods.  I loved it but I still needed to get off my bike a few times to get up some hills. Most everyone else could ride up them in low gear but I figured it’s just because I’m out of shape I’ll get better. After lunch we climbed another tower 107 steps up and back down again.
Day 4 we walked out on the break water to a light house and back and then took a bike ride between parks and then further along the shore.  It was pretty windy but I did better and stayed on my bike the whole time. We did have to climb one last tower 100 steps up and 100 back down again.
Day 5 we went back to the park to do the 10 mile sunset trail again and I still needed to walk up a few hills.  By this time I have been noticing that the only time my bike rolls is if I’m pedaling, the bike really doesn’t coast.
Day 6 our last day of activity so we start off the morning with a short road ride to the local resort on the water. Once again I comment on how I don’t think this bike works right. With my feet on the ground straddling the frame I pull up the handle bars raising the front tire and my husband reaches over to spin it and the tire spins and comes to a dead stop.
OK, so who paid my husband to rig my bike with the front brake on? Fess up. I know it was one of you. LOL
His remark was look at all that exercise you got. Like the 35 miles of bike riding, hiking up all the towers and the walks to the sunset every night weren’t enough exercise?
He played with the brake and got it to release my front tire.  Oh my gosh.  What a difference that made.  It was like a whole new experience riding that bike back to the trailer. I coasted half the way home. I felt free and light as a feather with the wind on my helmet.  I even lead the way.  Then we drove the car out to the Cana Island area got on the bikes and road around the area for the afternoon. Never once did I have a problem getting my bike to roll.
Moral of the story always check your bike out before you go for a ride.
